What's going on? Economic crisis, turbulence on the money markets....

I have to get back with my open comments, even if I decided a year ago - not to get involved because you cannot change the mess - just to adjust to it.

But, certain situations are dramatic and awful not to make your comments heard.

EA cuts jobs, moves Black Box studio
Globe and Mail - 7 hours ago
Electronic Arts Inc. dealt another blow to the game industry in British Columbia yesterday when it announced plans to shutter its famous Black Box development studio in downtown Vancouver and increase the number of layoffs as part of the company's ...

Young, enthusiastic, passionate about what they do are hit hard by the company - Money hunger and profits. These young people worked hours - they did not care how many - and hours to meet the deadlines. Day and night - always someone in the studio.

Absolutely, you have to profit - we are in business to make money.

Can we make money with a human face?

Let's ride together the storm - otherwise the damage will stay longer than we expect.

I hope that the science fiction movies of years ago - they will not become a reality in the days ahead.

Let's get back to reality that the human bodyit happened - cannot adjust to changes as fast as it happened.

There is no way to change a business plan within a period of few months.

But, wherever there is a crisis, there are as many opportunities.

The question is: Do we learn from the situation, or we are bound to same mistakes in the future?
